Alessandro is Associate Professor at The Wistar Institute (Gene Expression and Regulation Program) and Adjunct Professor at the Dept of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the University of Pennsylvania.  He graduated in Biotechnology from the University of Bologna and obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Milan.

Sandra graduated in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained her PhD in Cancer Biology and Genetics  from Temple University. 

Research interests: 3D genome dynamics in cell differentiation, transcriptional enhancers.

Martina is a PhD student of Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna. She previously graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Messina (IT) and obtained a Master Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna.

Research interests: dynamics of nuclear phosphatases, co-transcriptional regulation of RNA Polymerase. 

Luca is a PhD student of Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology and a Master Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna.

Research interests: transcriptional control of neurogenesis, nuclear phosphatases in cancer development. 

Connor is a PhD student of Cell and Molecular Biology (Genetics & Epigenetics) from the University of Pennsylvania. He previously graduated in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and conducted postbac research at the NIDCD in Bethesda. 

Research interests: epigenetic control of neurogenesis, fusion proteins in the pathogenesis of rare sarcomas.

Ilan is a PhD student of Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a Master Degree in Biochemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa).

Research interests: structure-function studies of the Integrator complex.

Kelsey is a PhD student of Cell and Molecular Biology (Genetics & Epigenetics) from the University of Pennsylvania. She previously graduated in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Chemistry from the Minnesota State University Moorhead. 

 Research interests: enhancer regulation during cell fate commitment.  

Jacob graduated in Biology in 2022 from the Haverford College (PA) and joined the lab in March 2023.  

Sarah is a PhD student of Cell and Molecular Biology (Genetics & Epigenetics) from the University of Pennsylvania. She previously graduated in Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. 

Research interests: transcription regulation by nuclear phosphatases, structure and function of the Integrator complex.

Frank graduated in Biology at Rowan University (NJ) and joined the lab in June 2021.
