Lab Head
Alessandro is Associate Professor at The Wistar Institute (Genome Regulation and Cell Signaling Program) and Adjunct Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Scientific Director of the Genomics Shared Resources at Wistar. He graduated in Biotechnology from the University of Bologna and obtained a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Milan.

Sandra graduated in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained her PhD in Cancer Biology and Genetics from Temple University.
Research interests: 3D genome dynamics in cell differentiation, transcriptional enhancers.

Research interests: transcriptional control of neurogenesis, nuclear phosphatases in cancer development.

Ilan is a PhD student of Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Bologna. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a Master Degree in Biochemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa).
Research interests: structure-function studies of the Integrator complex.

Kelsey is a PhD student of Cell and Molecular Biology (Genetics & Epigenetics) from the University of Pennsylvania. She previously graduated in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Chemistry from the Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Research interests: enhancer regulation during cell fate commitment.

Joei is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania and works part-time in the lab as a research assistant. Joei is majoring in Neuroscience and is interested in mechanisms of genome regulation.
